Upon successful completion of the Certified Mission Critical Safety, Health, Environmental Professional (CMCSHEP) course, participants will be able to:
Apply OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, and HMTA regulatory requirements to mission-critical operations.
Conduct comprehensive workplace hazard assessments, environmental evaluations, and regulatory compliance audits.
Develop and implement integrated Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) management systems.
Perform advanced risk assessments and hazard analyses using industry-recognized methodologies.
Develop emergency response, incident management, and business continuity plans for high-risk operations.
Implement effective fire protection, electrical safety, arc flash prevention, confined space, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and industrial hygiene programs.
Manage hazardous materials and hazardous waste in compliance with environmental regulations and industry best practices.
Evaluate workplace ergonomics, occupational health hazards, and environmental risks to improve employee safety and operational performance.
Lead regulatory compliance initiatives and support continuous improvement in organizational safety and environmental management.
Promote a proactive safety culture that strengthens operational reliability, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.
The following criteria are also accepted for enrollment:
A Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or physics from an accredited college or university, OR
A Bachelor’s degree in a closely related biological or physical science from an accredited college or university, OR
Substitution of work experience for formal education: Three (3) years of acceptable work experience may be substituted for each year of an academic degree program. (Example: Twelve years of relevant experience is equivalent to a bachelor's degree.)
